Welcome to LuxCalc: a tour of the tools
Five free calculators for Luxembourg residents and cross-border workers, built on 2026 data and updated regularly. Here is what you will find.
LuxCalc brings together five tools to understand your finances in Luxembourg, from this month's pay to your retirement date. No account to create: you enter your figures and the result appears.
What you can do
Salary
Convert gross to net pay, in the private sector or the civil service. For civil servants, enter your salary in index points; the pension contribution is not capped there, unlike in the private sector.
Tax
Estimate your tax settlement: what has already been withheld, and what is left to pay or to be refunded. Labels follow the tax form, and you can compare several years or test the effect of deductible expenses.
Pension
Estimate your statutory pension from your career, year by year, using the CNAP logic (flat-rate and proportional increments, minimum and maximum bounds). Handy to compare retiring earlier or later.
FIRE
Project the date your assets can cover your expenses. An expense can end (a mortgage paid off), an income can start later (pension, rent), all in constant euros.
Exit strategy
Plan your exit as a sequence of periods: work, leave, time-savings account. The tool shows the effect on your income and on your pension.
Designed to work together
A result computed in one tool can be reused in another without retyping: your estimated pension feeds FIRE, tax and the exit strategy, and the net/gross ratio from your tax estimate is reused in the exit strategy. Each tool can also export and import your data as JSON, to back it up or move it to another device.
Built on 2026 data
The site relies on the legislation and parameters in force in 2026: contribution ceiling, contribution rates, civil service point value, pension rate profiles, tax scale. These values change over time, and this site will follow them.
Your data stays with you
Every calculation runs in your browser. What you enter is saved on your device only and is never sent to a server.
